アメリカの歯医者やクリニックは、診療時間というものがなく基本完全予約制です。
救急外来の場合は、別ですが、歯医者などは緊急な場合でも前もって電話する必要があります。

I woke up to a terrible toothache this morning.
In Japan, dentists and clinics have what’s called a shinryo jikan (診療時間)where anyone can go without an appointment and get treatment on a first come first serve basis.
In the states, at least to my knowledge, you usually need to call ahead and get an appointment. Today, I’m teaching the Japanese people how to ask for an appointment on the phone. I also teach you guys learning Japanese how to say something hurts.
