I am often contacted by young hopefuls overseas who intend on living in Japan someday, so it’s no surprise that some of them have fears that need to be reassured. One of the less-common-but-still-commonly-asked questions I receive, is wether or not Japan is ~safe~ for young single women who intend to travel alone. Having undergone that very experience myself, I share a story from my past and discuss my opinion on the matter.
